ContextTo strengthen our regulatory team, we are looking for a dynamic personality with very good knowledge of the Swiss electricity market. You will report directly to the Group Head of Regulatory.
Your main respoonsibilities- In this position, you will represent our company in national committees and to internal and external stakeholders such as ElCom/BfE, impressing them with your in-depth knowledge and experience of the Swiss energy sector.
- You will analyse regulatory changes in the energy industry in our core market of Switzerland, in particular the implementation of the Energy Strategy 2050, the Mantelerlass and the Electricity Agreement.
- You will prepare risk and opportunity analyses from a regulatory perspective and propose appropriate recommendations for action to Alpiq's management, electricity traders and originators.
- You will provide support in regulatory matters, M&A processes and the development of new business models.
- Thanks to your experience and open personality, you will ensure the smooth flow of information within the Alpiq Group.
- As a service provider for internal stakeholders, you will regularly offer workshops on current regulatory developments and provide ad hoc support for various projects across the diverse activities within the Alpiq Group.
Your profile
- To fulfil this demanding role, you will have a university degree (licence/master's from a university or ETH) or a degree from a university of applied sciences, supplemented by experience in an energy policy or regulatory environment in a similar role.
- It would be desirable for you to already have a solid network in the Swiss energy market.
- Your negotiating skills, experience in project management and sound language skills (German and English are essential, French is very helpful) will make your daily work easier.
- You know how to assert yourself, communicate in a manner appropriate to the audience and are characterised by initiative and a high degree of personal responsibility.
