Master Data and Reporting Specialist

Olten - 100% | Permanent

In this position you will support both Master Data Management and Consolidation and act as an interface between the two departments. You will be reporting directly to the Head Consolidation & Master Data, along with 2 other professionals.

Your responsibilities
  • Support the finance master data service containing the master data quality, the master data related processes and supporting tools
  • Support in maintaining system related interfaces to ensure proper master data transfer between the related systems
  • Ensure master data consistency, integrity and availability across the finance systems (SAP ERP – SAP BW - SAP BPC)
  • Collaboration in group-wide tasks related to the monthly closing and being responsible for assigned sub-tasks
  • Support group companies in defined areas during the monthly closing (e.g. IC reconciliation)
  • “Technical support” for users of the reporting tool (SAP BPC) in ongoing operations and further developments, considering the dependencies SAP ERP – SAP BW – SAP BPC
  • Support in implementation of automation tools and boots for data validation and reconciliations
  • Active participation in cross-departmental and group-wide projects

Your profile

  • Education with a focus on IT and/or Computer Science or similar fields
  • 1-3 years of working experience in a similar function, as an advantage in an international environment
  • Ideally experience with SAP ERP, SQL database, SAP BW & Query Designer, Power BI and SAP BPC or other reporting tools
  • Basic understanding of automation tools and bots for data validation and reconciliation
  • Basic knowledge in financial processes and/or accounting
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail to ensure data accuracy
  • Team-oriented, excellent communication skills, and a high level of initiative
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel)
  • Fluency in English and German required
  • Swiss/EU passport or Visa required; for this role we are not able to sponsor any non-EU Visa.
