OKThe village of Trans is located approximately 1,400 metres above sea level in the canton of Graubünden. In 2009, at the same time as the municipality's drinking water network was refurbished, the Trans drinking water power plant was constructed in order to take advantage of the difference in height between the source and the drinking water reservoir. The additional costs for the construction of the small hydropower station were borne by Entegra Wasserkraft AG, which in return was granted the rights of use to operate the plant.
