We are seeking a proactive and motivated Accountant Consolidation & Reporting to join our finance team. In this role, you will support the Head of Consolidation & Master Data in managing the financial consolidation and group reporting processes for the Alpiq Group.
Dein Profil
- Own the monthly financial reporting for designated group entities and subject areas, ensuring accuracy and compliance with group standards.
- Support and advise group companies on the accounting treatment of complex transactions and deliver training on consolidation and reporting tools.
- Drive group-wide activities during the monthly closing process, including system preparation, intercompany reconciliations, and capital consolidation.
- Act as a Key User for the reporting tool (SAP BPC), ensuring smooth operations and addressing dependencies with SAP ERP and SAP BW.
- Prepare and review assigned sections of the IFRS annual and semi-annual reports and collaborate with external auditors.
- Contribute to cross-functional and group-wide initiatives, with a strong focus on process optimization, automation, and system enhancements.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Finance, preferably in an international environment.
- Advanced knowledge of financial consolidation and reporting processes, with solid knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with SAP ERP, SAP BW, and SAP BPC is advantageous.
- A structured, analytical mindset with a high level of attention to detail and data quality.
- A collaborative, hands-on attitude with strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
- Fluent in German and English; French is an advantage.
- Curiosity for digitalization, automation, and data-driven improvements in finance processes.
