Join us as our next Market Surveillance Officer and play a key role in keeping things transparent, compliant, and above board. You'll dive into market conduct analysis, manage surveillance tools, spot suspicious trading behavior, and work hand-in-hand with Traders, Compliance, and other key teams across the business.

Your main responsibilities

  • Responsible for Group market conduct analysis
  • Manage the trade surveillance tool
  • Evaluate the surveillance tool alerts
  • Identify other suspicious trading behavior
  • Monitor open position limits obligations
  • Regular contact to Traders
  • Escalate suspicious findings
  • Support of Trade Compliance activities
  • Cooperate with other departments (especially with Trading, Front Support, Regulatory etc.)
  • Communicate with regulators, trading venues, and system vendors

Your profile

  • University or BA degree in technical, engineering, business, legal or finance plus 5+ years’ experience in a relevant position
  • Advanced knowledge of commodity trading is a must-have
  • Knowledge of the EU applicable rules on market conduct
  • Experience with the management of a surveillance tool
  • Willingness to learn new things, a proactive approach and willing to mentor junior colleagues
  • Analytical mind and orientation on results
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English; German or French is a plus
