We are on a mission to accelerate the energy transition in Switzerland, and we’re looking for an entrepreneurial leader to join us as Origination Switzerland (f/m/d). In this role, you will create impactful, sustainable energy solutions that meet our customers' needs.
Your accountabilities- Team Player: Drive the energy transition together with a team of experts in origination and guarantees of origin across diverse markets to. Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organization, sharing knowledge and supporting collective goals.
- Entrepreneurial Drive: Use your entrepreneurial mindset to take initiative, drive projects forward, and deliver exceptional results. Provide support to maintain and strengthen the privileged relationships Alpiq has with key players in the Western Switzerland market
- Develop New Business: Identify and capitalize on new opportunities within the Swiss energy market, expanding our reach and impact. Elevate the company’s renewable energy management portfolio by seamlessly integrating cutting-edge market trends and navigating evolving regulatory landscapes. Expand successfully the range of origination products and services that Alpiq is offering to its Swiss customers with the trading units and support functions
- Enhanced focus on customer experience Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met through customized, high-value solutions. Offer ongoing support to maintain and strengthen Alpiq's privileged partnerships with key players in the Western Switzerland market.
Your profile
- You are a native speaker of either French or German, with fluency in the other language and a high level of proficiency in English.
- You have experience in financial or commodities trading, an understanding of the European energy market
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree combined with a strong desire to deepen your knowledge and expertise in these dynamic areas.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of developing and executing new business opportunities.
- A strong customer orientation with the ability to understand and address client needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-focused attitude.
