From August 30 to September 14, 2025, the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships will take place throughout Valais. For the first time, the eight disciplines will be spread across an entire host region. In the heart of the Swiss Alps and on the doorstep of our largest hydropower assets, a new chapter in the history of mountain biking will be written.
The power behind every ride
The competition venues for the 2025 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships will be located almost exclusively in Alpiq's concession municipalities. By becoming a Main Partner of Valais 2025, Alpiq wants to underline its partnership with the Valais region and its commitment to water as a sustainable resource in the energy sector. We are convinced that water releases forces that are decisive for a sustainable energy balance; both in the bodies of sportswomen and in a balanced energy landscape.
Our commitment to the 2025 Mountain Bike World Championships in Valais goes beyond ordinary sponsorship.
