Bruggmühle and Sittermühle small-scale hydropower plants

Located in the municipality of Bischofszell in the canton of Thurgau, the two small hydropower stations Bruggmühle and Sittermühle have been generating electricity from renewable energy sources since 1930. The Bruggmühle power station was constructed on the right river bank next to the mill of the same name. The Sittermühle power station is located in the basement of the building opposite on the left bank. The modernisation of these two power stations is currently being planned.
