Lausanne – On Friday, 18 July 2025, the shareholders of Alpiq Holding Ltd. resolved to distribute an extraordinary dividend. The approved distribution of CHF 162 million corresponds to the amount originally proposed as an ordinary dividend.
Alpiq generated a record-high operating cash flow in the 2024 financial year and presented the second-best result in the company’s history. Given the ongoing review of the dividend policy and alignment with the strategy process, the shareholders decided to withhold a dividend distribution at the Annual General Meeting in mid-May. They have now made up for this by holding a virtual Extraordinary General Meeting. The extraordinary dividend amounts to CHF 162 million, corresponding to the amount already proposed as an ordinary dividend for the Annual General Meeting when the results for 2024 were published (on 24 February 2025).
