The Head Group Financial & Performance Management leads the internal reporting process and ensures a high-quality planning and forecasting. Your mission is to provide the Executive Board with reliable, decision-ready insights through a robust EIS/MIS landscape, harmonised KPIs, and forward-looking analysis. You ensure that Alpiq’s leadership operates with crystal-clear visibility, robust KPIs and reliable forecasting by:

  • Delivering a best-in-class performance framework across the Group.
  • Elevating the impact and credibility of Group performance reporting.
  • Enhancing driver based planning quality, speed and value.

Your responsibilities

As Head Group Financial & Performance Management, you will lead the group-wide internal reporting, planning/forecasting, and the development of Alpiq’s Executive and Management Information Systems. Your key responsibilities include:

1. Performance Governance

  • Define a unified Group Performance Framework for planning, forecasting, steering metrics and KPI logic.

2. Plan-to-Steer Process

  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Ensure system readiness, data quality, and methodology consistency.

3. Executive & Management Information Systems (EIS/MIS)

  • Own and further develop EIS/MIS tools, dashboards and data models.
  • Deliver management-ready reporting for Executive Board and senior leadership.
  • Drive automation, harmonisation and reliability of performance data.

4. KPI & Performance Measurement

  • Define, maintain and evolve Group KPIs and steering metrics — financial and non-financial.
  • Ensure transparency of performance drivers across segments, assets and corporate functions.
  • Strengthen a performance-oriented and challenge-driven culture.
  • Lead and deliver key performance and transformation projects for the CFO and Head of Finance & Accounting, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities

Your profile

You are a seasoned finance leader with a strong track record in planning, forecasting, KPI governance, and performance steering. You combine strategic perspective with analytical rigour and hands-on execution, enabling you to translate complex data into clear business decisions and measurable outcomes.

You act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, confidently challenging and influencing at all levels. With a strong focus on standardisation, automation, and data-driven insights, you drive the modernisation of reporting landscapes and actively shape a high-performance culture across the organisation.

Prior experience with a Big Four audit firm would be considered an advantage.

You bring:

  • Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to align, influence, and deliver across international and cross-functional teams
  • Deep expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and integrated financial planning processes
  • Strong conceptual and analytical thinking, with the ability to connect strategy to execution
  • High resilience, ownership mindset, and the ability to operate independently in complex environments
  • Experience in data analytics, digital tools, and ERP-driven finance
  • Project management experience; Fluent in English, additional European languages are an advantage.
