In addition to large-scale power stations in the Alps, Alpiq operates wind farms in Switzerland, Italy, France and Bulgaria. Alpiq as well operates about 30 Small hydroelectric power stations in Switzerland and the neighbouring countries. The wind farm Le Peuchapatte in the Franches Montagnes in the canton of Jura is the second largest in Switzerland.
