Shareholders approved Board proposals

Lausanne - Alpiq Holding Ltd. held its 6th Annual General Meeting in Lausanne on 24 April 2014. The 206 shareholders or proxies present approved a dividend of CHF 2.00 per registered share, the 2013 consolidated financial statements and the annual report, as well as revisions to the Articles of Association.

The 6th Annual General Meeting of Alpiq Holding Ltd. was held at the ETH Lausanne’s new SwissTech Convention Center. The 206 attending shareholders or proxies, representing 89.23 percent of voting rights, approved the 2013 consolidated financial statements and the annual report of Alpiq Holding Ltd. The General Meeting discharged the members of the Board of Directors of their responsibilities, and voted for payment of a dividend of CHF 2.00 per registered share. They also approved revisions to the Articles of Association in order to comply with the new law on listed stock companies, and elected the members of the Board for a term of office of one year. Gérard Roth and François Driesen were appointed for a one-year term, succeeding the resigning members Olivier Fauqueux and Dominique Bompoint. Both served on the Alpiq Board from 2012 to 2013.
