Alpiq transports electricity reliably to customers. As the largest grid owner, we own more than one third of Switzerland's electricity grids. Thanks to our "electricity highways", we deliver peak load energy from storage power stations and base load energy to our customers.
Alpiq has been building its own distribution grids for more than 80 years. We have extensive expertise in building and operating electricity lines – particularly in mountain regions and over the Alpine chain.
