380-kV line between Chamoson and Chippis

In July 2010 the Federal Office of Energy (FOE) approved Alpiq's plans for construction of the new high-voltage line between Chamoson and Chippis in the canton of Valais. The approval means that the 380-kV line, around 28 kilometres in length, can be entirely installed as an overhead line.
