The Federal Administrative Court has today confirmed planning approval for the ultra-high voltage overhead line between Chamoson and Chippis. On 22 April 2010, Alpiq lodged an appeal against the ruling issued by the Federal Electricity Commission (ElCom) on 4 March 2010. Alpiq is convinced that there is no legal basis for the additional charges imposed by ElCom in connection with ancillary services. It is now up to the Federal Administrative Court to decide.
