Alpiq is co-sponsor the 79th annual meeting of International Committee of Large Dams (ICOLD) organized in Switzerland, in Luzern from the 29th of May until the 3rd of June 2011 by the Swiss Committee of Dams. ICOLD is a non-governmental international Organization composed of 90 national committees gathering dam engineers, geologists and scientists.
This 4 days meeting will offer to about 900 peoples expected an exchange platform including a symposium, technical exhibitions and visits, among them a visit to Emosson's Dam (Nant de Drance). An additional day of visit is planned at the Grande Dixence.
