History and facts of Alpiq Polska

In 2006 it's turnover reached over PLN 570 million and for the dynamics of business development in 2004-2006 Alpiq Polska received a price "Business Gazelle 2007".

• Licensed energy trader since 2002 

• Actively trading since 2003 

• First customer contract in the heavy industry sector (Mittal Steel) in 2004 

• In 2005 Alpiq Polska sold almost 5 TWh of electricity, recording a turnover of CHF 225 million, compared with 100 GWh and CHF 9 million two years earlier. 

• In 2006 it's turnover reached over PLN 570 million and for the dynamics of business development in 2004-2006 Alpiq Polska received a price "Business Gazelle 2007" 

• 2007 the company posted revenue of PLN 742 million.

We are a member of the Association of Energy Trading Companies and the Polish Chamber of Energy Trading and Environmental Protection (IGEIOS). Alpiq Polska was the first energy company to become involved in active trading on the Polish Power Exchange.
