Alpiq Generation (CZ) s.r.o. has belonged to Alpiq since 2002. It represents the largest Swiss investment in the Czech Republic and is the country's largest independent producer of electricity and heat. With around 260 employees, Alpiq Generation (CZ) generates around 1,600 GWh of electricity a year as well as providing other services to its customers. Its electricity and heat cogeneration facility complies with the environmental standards of both the Czech Republic and the European Union.
