For more than 80 years the energy company Alpiq has been building high-voltage grids and switchgear for the transmission and distribution of energy. Effective 1 January, this in-depth know-how and wealth of experience will be combined under Alpiq EnerTrans AG.
With a staff of more than 100, Alpiq EnerTrans AG offers a comprehensive range of services covering studies and concepts as well as the planning and design, construction, commissioning and maintenance of high-voltage grids and facilities in Switzerland.
Alpiq EnerTrans AG has amassed extensive know-how from the large number of plants implemented and managed to date, and has an outstanding track record in the application of innovative technologies and methods. Thanks to an excellent network of contacts and short intervention times due to its locations in the Swiss plateau, western and central Switzerland as well as in the cantons of Valais and Ticino, Alpiq EnerTrans AG is a dependable partner for customers in the fields of transmission, distribution and local grids as well as industrial and power plant facilities.
