Our quality labels

For years we have been committed to obtaining environmental certification and renewable energy quality labels for our hydroelectricity.

TÜV EE 002, ISO 14001, Naturemade basic

Alpiq is also an industry pioneer when it comes to quality certification:

• Back in April 2000 we were the first company in Switzerland to be certified to the German TÜV EE 002 standard for hydropower

• Grande Dixence SA, a member of the Alpiq Group, gained ISO 14001 certification in July 2001.

• Grande Dixence SA was also awarded the Swiss "Naturemade" quality label in January 2002.

The quality label entails strict requirements in terms of an environmental management system and criteria such as emissions reduction and the share of renewable energies in overall production
